Be The Good is 100% volunteer-run by individuals. families, teams, troops, and organizations with a heart for feeding our neighbors. Here's the story of the 12U NOVA Ice Dogs.
"In hockey, you have to be aware of what your teammates need and how to back them up. We all have to work together," said Megan Gottmoeller. "The Ice Dogs 12U teams put those lessons into practice off the ice, helping fill Be The Good Project Care Packages in the fall of 2021."
"The Ice Dog family is grateful for the opportunity Be The Good provides to help channel our energy and into supporting others in our community."
"For these 11 and 12 year-olds who come from different schools and neighborhoods throughout the area, it was a chance to connect with each other outside the rink," Megan concluded.
